Margaret Long was born in Dalton, Georgia, where she developed a keen appreciation for textiles in her surroundings. Her love for color and design led her to the University of Georgia to pursue a B.S. in Furnishings and Interiors.
After graduation Margaret moved to Birmingham, Alabama, where she worked for Southern Living Magazine in the Homes Editorial Department. Eventually migrating back to Georgia, Margaret truly found her home in both Atlanta and interior design.
In 2005 Margaret launched her Atlanta-based interior design and consulting firm, Margaret Long Designs. Focusing on residential design, Margaret strives to achieve the highest level of service for each of her clients.
Margaret Long Designs is a full service interior design firm that offers expert guidance in residential design. With an exceptional eye to detail, Margaret works with each of her clients to help cultivate a distinctive look.
Margaret Long Designs provides interior space planning, color consulting and advice on furniture placement, while offering an extensive selection of fabrics, floor coverings, furniture and other finishes.
