I’m Seeing Yellow….

One of my favorite colors, yellow, is making a huge statement this spring in home interiors.   Maybe it’s the dreary economy and constant bad news that cause people to want to brighten things with a little sunshine, cheery yellow in their homes.  Whatever the reason, yellow is going to be huge!

Let the Sun Shine In

In Atlanta we are in the middle of one of the coldest winters I can remember.  Even with the sun shining bright overhead, I have been dashing to and from my car with gloves, scarf and hat, which is rare for Georgia’s usually mild winter.  My lack of outdoor exposure has me wishing for a sunny room in which to sit and ride out this cold winter.

Speaking of an Organized Closet…

My father-in-law sent this email to me and I could not stop laughing.  It’s a commercial from Germany, but you’ll get the gist of the story immediately.  It captures the difference between men and women pretty well.

Best Book This Year…So Far

I know, I know, this is not a book club blog but I found this book to be so influential in my day to day business dealings I wanted to share it with you.  WARNING: It will seriously make you tear up but it’s totally worth it!  The foundation of the book centers on “Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams” which Randy Pausch (Author) gives humors examples of how he has accomplished his.  This is a must read for 2009 and great for anyone owning their own business!

New Year’s Resolution

As the 2009 rolls forward I keep working on my New Year’s Resolution, one of which is to keeping my desk clean.  Ok, well I am still working on it but, as tribute to my goal I thought I would post a few inspirational photos of homes that are organized and well kept.

Um… Not only is the closet beautiful, did you check out the hand bag?  Hello Grace Kelly!

I want to say a special thank you to all of my friends and family who supported me and my company in 2008. Also a special thank you to my husband for being such a great listener and cheerleader!
